FAQ

  • All hubs must be packed with grease during assembly and lubricated every 1000 hours or annually thereafter (as recommended by S.A.E. standards for lubricating industrial machinery) to assure longer bearing life.

  • Lithium based or thickened grease types are common for use in agricultural and recreational hubs and spindles.

  • An oil bath hub is a type of wheel hub that is filled with oil instead of grease to lubricate the bearings. The oil helps to cool the internal components by circulating over the bearings as the vehicle is in motion. Oil bath hubs feature a sight glass and oil-level indicator that allow the user to regularly check and refill the oil.

  • To measure a bolt pattern, you first must determine if it’s an odd or even number of bolts.

    For even numbers (ie. 4, 6, 8):

    • Measure the distance from the center of one bolt hole to the center of the hole directly across from it.

    For odd numbers (5):

    • Measure from the center of one bolt hole to the outer edge of a diagonal bolt hole.

  • ISO Certification is an endorsement by a third-party that recognizes a company’s commitment to continuous development and international quality standards and assurance. It stands for International Organization for Standardization (ISO).
